Cooperative enterprise is alive in the Rogue Valley. The Rogue Co-Ops is a cross-sector collaborative group comprised of Rogue Credit Union, Grange Co-Op, Ashland Food Co-Op, Medford Food Co-Op and Talent Maker City. In this one hour presentation you will learn the advantages of co-ops, how they operate, and what it takes to start one. Also, to build more community awareness about how the cooperative businesses model works and to spark the formation of new co-ops, the Rogue Co-Ops are sponsoring a "Start a Co-Op" contest. The winner will receive a $3,000 award to help with startup or conversion costs for their fledgling co-op business. Find out how you can become involved by attending this compelling presentation!
